Kyabje Sey Rinpoche
Ngawang Gelek Namgyal, more popularly known as Kyabje Sey Rinpoche, was born in 1963, son of the great enlightened yogi Kyabje Apho Rinpoche. Rinpoche is the Third Holder of the Tokden Drubwang Dugu Shakya Sri lineage, spiritually as well as by family.
Drubwang Shakya Sri (1853-1919) was an enlightened yogi and a Tertön. He was a great master of the Drukpa lineage, perfectly accomplished in the practices of Mahamudra and of Dzogchen, which he harmoniously combined. Sey Rinpoche was recognized as the reincarnation of one of the heart students of Shakya Sri, Ladhaki Tripon Pema Choegyal (1876-1958).
Kyabje Sey Rinpoche now supports the Chimed Drupay Gastel monastery in Manali. He gives spiritual advices to Drukpa communities from the north of the Himalayan India.
His Eminence has become one of the main Drukpa masters training the yogis and giving advanced spiritual advices to the practitioners of the lineage, more peculiarly on the Six Yogas of Naropa.
He teaches abroad for the new comers to the Drukpa lineage and to the Shakya Sri lineage. He helps His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa for the preservation of the 800 years old Drukpa lineage’s legacy and for the spreading of its formidable blessings.
