Discover the fascinating story of Ngawang Tchenpo, better known in the West as Drubpön Ngawang Tenzin Pagsam Yongdu or Drubpön Rinpoche.

Born in Bhutan in 1955 into a family of royal descent, Drubpön Rinpoche recounts, in his autobiography, his childhood and his early years at the monastery. At the age of seven, he began his Dharma training there under the guidance of the First Kyabje Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche.

Drubpön Rinpoche offers an exceptional account of his childhood and the many years he spent in the service of his Master. Appointed in 1989 as representative in Europe by His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa, Drubpön Rinpoche recounts in his narrative his life among Westerners, whom he has come to know well. A meditation master beloved and respected for his wisdom and big heart, Drubpön Rinpoche lives in Plouray, Brittany, France, at the European center of the Drukpa Lineage, where, for nearly forty years, he has been teaching the Dharma and guiding numerous disciples and students daily on the path to Enlightenment.

Half of the proceeds from the sale of this 420-page book, published in French and English by Claire Lumière, will go toward funding the construction of a museum in Plouray dedicated to the history of the Drukpa Lineage, and the other half will support Chungkhar Monastery in Bhutan.
